Consolidated Advt. 01/2026 & The CSS Written Sprint

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) jobs has hit the ground running this January. Not only has the Consolidated Advertisement No. 01/2026 just dropped, offering a fresh batch of permanent federal roles but the commission is also juggling the CSS 2026 Written Exams and the Phase-I General Recruitment (GR) tests. If you’re a federal aspirant, your “exam season” has officially started.

📋 Available Positions

Unlike the CSS, these are specialized roles ranging from BS-16 to BS-21. The current openings are heavy on education and enforcement:

Note: For high-scale posts (BS-18 and above), tests are often condensed only to major provincial capitals to maintain security.

🎓 Eligibility Check📚 Academic: Most Inspector and Assistant roles require a 14 or 16-year degree (2nd Div). Professional roles (Engineers/Doctors) require active PEC or PM&DC registration.
🏢 Govt Servants: You must apply through the proper channel. Obtain your Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) before the closing date; you’ll need the reference number for the form.

⏳ Age Limits

FPSC usually sets the bracket at 22–28 or 25–35 years.

The Golden Rule: Every advertised post comes with an automatic 5-year general age relaxation. So, if an ad says “30 years,” the actual cutoff is 35.

🚀 The “New” 1-Link Application Process

FPSC has officially retired the old green bank challans. Everything is now digital via the PSID system:

1️⃣ Generate PSID: Start your application on fpsc.gov.pk. The system will give you a unique PSID.

2️⃣ Pay Anywhere: Use EasyPaisa, JazzCash, ATM, or your mobile banking app.

💳 BS-16/17: Rs. 600 | BS-18: Rs. 1,500
💳 BS-19: Rs. 2,500 | BS-20+: Rs. 3,000

3️⃣ Complete Step-2: Once payment is verified, go back to the site and finalize your data. Your application is NOT submitted until you finish Step-2.

For those who cleared the MPT (Screening), the CSS 2026 Written Examination begins on February 4, 2026.

Download your Admission Certificate: These are available on the portal as of January 15, 2026. FPSC does not send these via mail anymore; print it yourself!
