🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

📚 Investigation Roles: 2nd Class Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education).
⚖️ Legal Roles: LLB from an HEC-recognized university.
💻 Technical Roles: BE/BS in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
📏 Physical Standards (Uniform Posts):Male: Height 5′ 6″, Chest 32″ x 33.5″.
Female: Height 5′ 2″.

⏳ Age Limit & Relaxation

General Bracket: 22 to 28 years.
Relaxation: Standard 5-year general age relaxation is included, effectively extending the upper limit to 33 years for most applicants.

🚀 The Selection & Application Roadmap

1️⃣ Fee Payment: Generate a PSID on the FPSC portal and pay Rs. 300 (for BS-16/17) via 1-Link, Mobile Banking, or ATM. Paper challans are no longer required.

2️⃣ Online Submission: Apply at online.fpsc.gov.pk before the January 31, 2026 deadline. Ensure you have your degree completion date and DPC (if applicable) ready.

3️⃣ Phase I (Screening): MCQ-based test.

• English: 20 marks.

• General Intelligence & FIA Act: 80 marks.

4️⃣ Phase II (Descriptive): Shortlisted candidates (top 10 per seat) must pass a subjective exam involving English Essay and Précis.

5️⃣ Final Evaluation: Successful candidates undergo a psychological assessment and a final panel interview.
