📍 Selection Centers and Vacancies

🗺️ Locations: Recruitment is conducted through PAF Information & Selection Centers (I&SCs) in Abbottabad, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sukkur, D.I. Khan, and Muzaffarabad.
🔢 Vacancies: Intake is highly competitive and based on nationwide merit. While specific seat counts are not publicized, selection is strictly meritocratic across all provinces.

🎓 Requirements and QualificationsAdvertisements
📚 General: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical / Computer Science) or A-Level with at least 60% marks.
⚙️ Aeronautical Engineering: Requires F.Sc Pre-Engineering or A-Level (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). DAE holders with 65% marks in relevant trades are also eligible.
👁️ GD(P) Vision: Must have 6/6 vision without glasses. Note: For other branches, glasses may be allowed within specific limits.
📏 Physical: Male candidates must be at least 5′ 4″ (163 cm) tall.

⏳ Age Limit

Age: 16 to 22 years (calculated as of October 15, 2026).
Marital Status: Unmarried (mandatory for Permanent Commission).

🚀 The Selection Roadmap

1️⃣ Registration: Apply online at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.

2️⃣ Initial Tests: E-testing for Intelligence followed by academic papers in English, Physics, and Maths.

3️⃣ Physical Tests: 1.6 km run (8 mins), push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups.

4️⃣ ISSB: Shortlisted candidates undergo a 4-day personality and leadership assessment at Inter-Services Selection Boards (Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir, or Quetta).

5️⃣ Final Selection: Medical exam at the Central Medical Board (CMB) and final merit list by Air Headquarters.
